Established in 2006, Tara Vineyards & Winery is the oldest winery in Henderson County. It is owned and operated by the Pierce family.

Named for the Pierce family’s sailboat, TARA comes from Irish Folklore, meaning ‘a view from afar’. The family says that on the high seas, they had a view from the crest of each wave, reminiscent of the hilltop vantage point that can be enjoyed from the Tara Inn.

With our Wine Club, we invite you to enjoy the lush bouquet of our great Texas wines, no matter where you are!

Membership Options

Membership in the Tara Wine Club is free, you will only be charged when your wine shipments go out. Membership is valid for a term of twelve months. Wine will come to you in 6 shipments throughout the year. When you sign up in store or at an event, you have the option to take your wine home with you. The following packages will be shipped directly to the address you provide. You are also welcome to come pick up the wines as the packages are ready. There is no charge for shipping.

Blanc du Bois Dry is wonderful chilled, and is a true match for most foods, with its bright, palate-cleansing acidity!

Chef’s Choice
